MY favourite treats when I was young were pink tipped sweet 'Cigarettes'; brown paper rolled chocolate 'cheroots' and sweet brown flaked 'tobacco'. I always feel sorry for the children who have been denied these sweetmeats. So well done to Steve Price of the Lantern Corner sweet shop in Leamington for selling something similar (Courier, April 11). How can anyone blame these for children taking up smoking beats me? The taste and smell of Cigarettes are pretty revolting in comparison. I do know - I tried one when I was about seven, and again one or two in my late teens.
